Tabs Not Pairing with the App

1. Confirm Tabs Are Connected to Each Other
- Remove both tabs from the charging case.
- They will pulse white while searching for each other.
- Once connected to each other, both LEDs will turn solid white.
2. Automatic Pairing Process
- Open the Dharma Dr. app.
- Navigate to the Tabs control screen.
- You should receive a prompt to pair. Confirm it when it appears.
- The app will display Connected when successful.
3. If Tabs Don’t Pair Automatically
- Ensure both tabs are fully charged and show solid white LEDs.
- Make sure Bluetooth and Location permissions are enabled on your phone.
- Restart the app and keep the tabs close to the phone.
4. Manual Bluetooth Pairing (Fallback)
- Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
- Forget or delete any saved “Dharma Dr.” devices.
- Restart the Dharma Dr. app.
- Press and hold the button on each tab until it blinks blue.
- Try pairing again from the app.
5. LED Reference During Pairing
LED | Meaning |
---|---|
Pulsing White | Tabs are searching for each other |
Solid White | Tabs are connected to each other and ready to pair |
Blinking Blue | Manual pairing mode |
Troubleshooting Checklist
- Only one tab connects? Put both tabs back in the case, wait 10 seconds, then try again.
- Bluetooth already used? Try manual pairing to override the old connection.
- No lights? Check charging status — see the Battery & Charging article.
