How to Update Your Tabs Firmware

Your Dharma Dr Tabs occasionally receive firmware updates to improve stability, performance, and add new features. Updating takes just a few minutes through the Dharma Dr app.

Steps

1. Open the Dharma Dr app
   Ensure your Tabs are turned on and paired with the app via Bluetooth.
2. Check for firmware update
   Go to More > Support > Diagnostics. If an update is available, you will see a notification or button to update.
3. Start the update
   Tap Update and keep your Tabs close to your phone during the process. Do not close the app or turn off Bluetooth.
4. Wait for completion
   The update may take a few minutes. Once complete, the Tabs will restart automatically and reconnect to the app.

Troubleshooting

• Update fails midway — Restart the Dharma Dr app, reconnect your Tabs, and try again. Factory reset if necessary. 
• Tabs won’t update — Make sure they are charged above 30% before starting the update. Factory reset if necessary.
• No update showing — Your Tabs may already be on the latest firmware version.

Tips & Best Practices

• Always update when your Tabs are at least 30% charged for stability.
• Keep your phone within 1–3 feet of the Tabs during the update.
