How to Perform a Factory Reset
Category: Troubleshooting → Common Issues
What This Covers:
- When to use factory reset
- Step-by-step reset instructions
- How to identify reset mode using the LED lights
When Should You Use a Factory Reset?
- If your tabs are not responding to the app or pairing steps
- If one or both tabs are out of sync with each other
- If you're preparing the device for use by a new client
Reset Instructions
- Remove both tabs from the charging case.
- Press and hold the button on each tab for 10–15 seconds.
- The LED will start flashing red — this means the tab is in factory reset mode.
- Important: You must perform this on both tabs — resetting only one will not fully work.
- After both tabs are flashing red, place them back in the charging case together.
- Wait 10 seconds, then remove the tabs — they will pulse white and begin searching for each other.
LED Behavior Reference
LED | Meaning |
---|---|
Flashing Red | Factory reset mode (must be active on both tabs) |
Pulsing White | Tabs searching for each other (post-reset) |
Solid White | Tabs connected to each other and ready to pair |
Troubleshooting
- Only one tab flashes red? Reset the second one — both must be in red mode at the same time.
- Tabs not connecting after reset? Return them to the case, wait 10 seconds, then remove again to restart pairing.
