If both tabs are glowing white in a fading pattern (breathing effect), they are not paired. When working correctly, the white light will fade in and out briefly while pairing, then both tabs will turn solid white once connected.

If they stay in the fading mode and never pair, follow these steps to perform a factory reset:

1. Place both tabs in the case and make sure the case is plugged in.

2. Press and hold the button on each tab for 10 seconds, then release.

3. The tabs should turn red. If one or both don’t, repeat step 2 and ensure the tabs are properly seated in the case.

4. Remove both red tabs from the case.

5. Find the tab with the ~ symbol between the charging contacts. Press and release the button on that tab once.

6. The tabs will turn white and automatically pair together. Once both lights are solid white, the factory reset is complete.
