Set Up Remote Access (Therapist Guide)

1. Requirements
- Dharma Dr. Control App (therapist version) installed on your device
- Client must have the Dharma Dr. App installed and their tabs paired
- Both users need a stable internet connection
2. How to Start a Remote Session
- Open the Control App on your device.
- Tap Remote Access in the main menu.
- Select Generate Code to create a one-time PIN.
- Share the PIN with your client through your secure communication method (email, telehealth chat, etc.).
3. Client Joins the Session
- Ask your client to open the Dharma Dr. App and enter the code in Remote Access → Enter Code.
- Once connected, you will see confirmation in your app.
4. What You Can Control
- Start / Stop the tabs remotely
- Adjust intensity (vibration strength)
- Adjust speed (alternation cycle rate)
- Monitor tab connection status in real-time
Troubleshooting Remote Access
- Client not connecting? Ask them to confirm their tabs are connected and the PIN is still valid (PINs expire after a short time).
- App says “Disconnected”? Reopen the Control App or generate a new code and try again.
- Tab controls not working? Client must have their tabs paired before entering the remote code.
Best Practices
- Verify both parties have strong internet and Bluetooth enabled.
- Instruct the client to keep their phone unlocked and close to the tabs during the session.
- Use a secure communication channel to send session PINs.
