Can My Therapist Control My Tabs Remotely?

Yes. The Dharma Dr app includes a Remote Access feature that allows your therapist to control your Tabs during a virtual EMDR session. This makes it possible for you to receive guided therapy even if you and your therapist are not in the same location.

How Remote Control Works

1. Generate a code — In the Dharma Dr app, the Therapist creates a secure one-time code.
2. Share with user — They will send you a code using a secure method.
3. Therapist connects — Your therapist can now control the tabs that were connected to the users app.
4. Therapist controls session — Once connected, your therapist can adjust speed, vibration, lights, and other session settings in real time.

Security and Privacy

• Codes are one-time use and expire after the session ends.
• Therapists cannot connect without your permission — you must share the code for each session.
• No personal data is shared through Remote Access beyond what is needed to run the session.

When to Use Remote Access

• During telehealth EMDR sessions with your licensed therapist
