How Do I Pay with My HSA or FSA Card?

Dharma Dr products are eligible for purchase with most Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. This article explains how to use these cards at checkout and what to do if your payment doesn’t go through.

Steps to Pay with an HSA or FSA Card

  1. Shop normally
Add Dharma Dr products to your cart on our online store.
  2. Proceed to checkout
Enter your shipping information and continue to the payment section.
  3. Select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA”
    Follow the steps for validation.
  4. Complete purchase
Confirm your payment and order. If approved, your purchase will be charged directly to your HSA/FSA account.

What to Do if Your Card Is Declined

  • Check card balance — Make sure your HSA/FSA account has enough funds available.
  • Verify merchant eligibility — Some HSA/FSA administrators restrict purchases. Dharma Dr qualifies as a medical device, but rules vary.
  • Try another card — If you have multiple HSA/FSA cards, attempt payment with a different one.
  • Use a standard card and submit for reimbursement — Pay with your regular credit/debit card, then request reimbursement from your HSA/FSA provider using your receipt.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Keep your emailed receipt — you may need to submit it for verification or reimbursement.
  • If your administrator asks for a letter of medical necessity, your therapist or healthcare provider can supply one.
  • Shop Pay Installments and PayPal Pay Later are not compatible with HSA/FSA cards. Use direct checkout instead.
